  1. @daugrin. Glad you like this composition. I used a Jackson Dinky DX pro on this track for the electric lead, and a Ibanez PF acoustic for lead 1 and rhythm sections. The vocal tracks were a bit tricky at first, but once I got a good idea of what was going to work best for me and what was not, it was pretty much a straight forward process from that point on. You can actually hear the difference between the first opening verse and all the rest that followed. Well, I seem to notice the differences. It was a tune that opened up a lot of opportunity to do what I like-Have fun!

Glad you liked this one daugrin!

  2. Like the lead voice, a bit bowie. Would have, for my first listen, like the backing vox in sync with the lead more. Can’t find anything to say about the music at all. Well done. Still enjoyed much.

  3. @Rich.

Thanks Rich. It is always nice that people may like a track, but from the stand point of spending hours producing these tracks, getting them ready for presentation, I much prefer hearing the constructive critic. As the old joke goes, a ****** is a masochists best friend. In music, I think a critic with good ears is a producers best friend-IMO.

Back in the day, I had 2 friends (Arlo and Vicky). One liked David B and Mott The Hoople , and the other liked Genesis (mostly the Peter G. era stuff) and Supertramp. They would play these artist/bands almost exclusively on very loud systems until my ears bled. I suppose I have scars. 🙂 As for me, I was more of a Cosby Stills Nash Young and Pink Floyd fan that started out with the Beach Boys and Beatles.

Thanks Cees for listening and very glad you like the track. Seems I have some subliminal tie with Bowie that I never really considered, and as I explained to Rich above, it makes perfect sense.
